Hélène lives with her husband David on the Wilson farm that has been in the family since 1827. They have two married daughters and four wonderful
Hélène attended and graduated from the University of Ottawa with a Nursing Degree and a Master’s Degree in Education.
During her nursing career, Hélène practiced and taught nursing at Vancouver General Hospital, Toronto General Hospital, the University of Ottawa and was a Family Practice Nurse at the Arnprior Medical Centre for 13 years.
Hélène received her Certificate in Foot Reflexology in 1997 and has never looked back. She has been practicing at the Arnprior Chiropractic Health Centre since 2001 and still continues to enjoy her hours spent with her clients. She received her Registered Canadian Reflexology Therapist (RCRT) designation in 2007 from the Reflexology Association of Canada.
Hélène continually upgrades her skills in reflexology by attending courses, conferences and workshops yearly. A few years ago she attended a European
Reflexology conference in Ireland (University of Limerick) at which there were over 300 practitioners representing 25 countries.
Reflexology has introduced Hélène to a natural, non-invasive way to promote balance and wellness in her life. She will continue to share and teach others its benefits, that of keeping body, mind and spirit in balance thereby helping the body heal itself.
Hélène stays active by curling in the winter, gardening in the summer and taking long walks. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren who live next door and visiting those who live in Saudi Arabia. In her spare time she enjoys reading,
playing bridge, singing in the church choir and traveling.
